Dr. Mark Kogan is a board certified dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who emphasizes providing compassionate and state-of-the-art treatment to his patients. He focuses on creating an environment that minimizes the stresses of the visit by educating the patient on all their options and guiding them to make the best informed decision.
Upon finishing his undergraduate education at Rutgers University in New Jersey, he began his dental education at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he graduated summa cum laude at the top of his class and became a member of Omicron Kappa Epsilon.
Dr. Kogan went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial training at Rutgers University. During his residency, he received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and he served as the Chief Resident during his final year. He gained experience using the most-up-to-date technology to more effectively treat his patients. He also participated in multiple mission trips gaining extensive experience in cleft repair.
Dr. Kogan’s surgical interests include wisdom teeth removal, dental implants with full mouth rehabilitation, benign pathology with facial reconstruction, TMJ, nerve repair, Corrective jaw surgery, and trauma surgery.

Dr. Kogan practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and tailors treatments to the needs of his patients. His area of expertise is working with patients diagnosed with skeletal facial deformities requiring corrective jaw surgery. He believes in a team approach and the use of innovative techniques such as virtual surgical planning which aids to provide more accurate, superior results compared to traditional methods.
